What is my password to ...?

Unless otherwise noted all passwords created by HR will be your first initial of your first name followed by the last three numbers of your birth year, repeated. All letters will be lowercase. For example, for someone named John Doe born in 1975 the password would be j975j975

How do I request my paystubs?

To request your paystub simply email accounting@ohcs.org and indicate whether the request is ongoing or on a one time basis.  You can either have your paystubs emailed to you or mailed so please also indicate your preference.  If you would like them mailed please make sure to include the address you would like them mailed to.  If you ask to have them emailed please note the password will be: First Four Letters of Last Name followed by Last Four Numbers of your Social Security Number. 

Am I eligible for benefits?

Most of our benefits are available to any employee working full time hours (30+) that is beyond their 60 day probationary period.  This includes our Group Health Plan through Kaiser Permenente, our Group Dental Plan through Guardian, and all of the additional lines of insurance through Principal including the Short Term Disability Insurance and Term Life insurance which our 100% employer paid.  All employees will be eligible to participate in our 401(k) through Guideline once they are past their probationary period.  If you are still unsure whether you are eligible please click here to email HR. If you are ineligible currently please reach out to your schedulers about adding additional shifts.  

 
When are paydays? What is the pay period?

Each 30 days of wages will be divided into two pay periods, the first will run from the 6th to the 20th of each month and second from the 21st to the 5th  of the subsequent month. Paydays will be on the 15th and last day of each month.  When either of those dates fall on a Saturday payment will be made on the preceding Friday, if they fall on a Sunday payment will be made on the following Monday.  Overtime payment, which is included with the nonexempt employee's base wage payment, is also paid bimonthly with such payment covering hours worked over 40 in the course of each 7 day work week.  Each work week begins Saturday at 12:00 AM and ends the following Friday at 11:59 PM. Hours not factored into overtime calculations are Vacation time, Sick time, and Sleep time.   If the normal payday falls on a company-recognized holiday, paychecks will be distributed one workday before the aforementioned schedule unless otherwise posted.

What are the shift differentials? 

At Pegasus there are two main shift differentials.  If you work any of our Facility Staffing shifts (our non-reoccuring, non- regularly scheduled shifts) your work for those hours would be paid out at your Base Rate + .50¢. The other main differential is for any graveyard hours (12am-8am).  If you work any graveyard shift (overnight awake shift) those hours would be paid out at your Base Rate + .50¢.   We do allow caregivers to earn multiple simultaneous differentials, therefore, if you were to take a facility staffing graveyard shift those hours would be paid out at your Base Rate + $1.00.  Occasionally in certain situations and with certain more difficult clients we will add additional differentials, however, those will be explained on a case by case basis.  It is important to note that any overtime will be paid out based on your base rate, irregardless of the shift differentials (1.5 x Base Rate).
